Seven sheets, in the same order as the official farm notebook model:
- CÓMO USARLAShort instructions to fill it in right the first time.
- A1 · INFORMACIÓN GENERALHolder, people with an applicator licence, advisory body and treatment equipment.
- A2 · PARCELASOne row per SIGPAC enclosure: province, municipality, polygon, parcel, enclosure, vulnerable zone, rainfed or irrigated, area and crop.
- A3 · MEDIOAMBIENTALDrinking water abstraction points near your plots.
- B · TRATAMIENTOSOne block per crop: seed treatments and plant protection interventions, with product, registration no., pre-harvest interval, rate and adviser validation.
- C · POSTCOSECHAPost-harvest, storage and transport treatments, and pesticide residue analyses.
- D · SALIDASWho you sell or deliver the harvest to, when and how much.
How to fill it in
- Start with A1 and A2. Give each person, each machine and each plot a sequence number. Those are the numbers you will use in the treatments.
- On sheet B, one block per crop. If you grow wheat and barley, copy the whole block and paste it underneath.
- Write down each treatment the same day. Date, plots, pest, product with its official registration number (it is on the label), rate and kilos or litres used.
- Check that the product is authorised for that crop and that pest, and that the rate is within what its registration allows. You can look it up in the Ministry of Agriculture's Register of Plant Protection Products.
- Save a copy when you close the season.
Is it enough for the mandatory digital notebook?
It helps you get your data in order, which is the hardest part. But note: from 1 January 2027 plant protection treatments must be recorded electronically, and an Excel sheet does not send itself to the authorities. We explain it with dates and official sources in the guide When does the digital field notebook become mandatory?
What if the notebook filled itself in?
With the template you have to type every detail by hand. In Terrinde you log the job from your phone when you finish on the plot and the notebook builds itself, in this same format:
- You pick the product from the Ministry's official catalogue and Terrinde checks that it is authorised for that crop and that the rate is correct.
- Your plots are loaded from SIGPAC with one click on the map.
- The “Qué falta” (what's missing) screen tells you what your notebook still lacks before you hand it in.
- Plus: stock, fertilisation record and what each hectare costs you.
